EXAMINER'S CALL
The checker reads your verdict. The Kit gets you through the exam: documentation packets for your condition, the two 45-day form clocks run as a calendar, the official medication form packet, waiting-period calendars, failure recovery, and the examiner phone script.

Bariatric surgery has no condition-specific federal standard. Examiners judge recovery and stability: surgical healing, nutritional stability (absorption issues and vitamin deficiencies are the medical substance here), and the trajectory of the conditions that prompted surgery — blood pressure, diabetes, apnea risk — each under its own rule.
The surgery is rarely the story; what it does to your other numbers over the following months is. A driver six months out, nutritionally stable, with improving BP and glucose has a strong file.
Bring surgical records, current labs (nutritional markers), and your treating clinician's stability statement. Time the exam after stability, not during rapid change.
This question is NOT decided by federal text — the text leaves it to the examiner's judgment. Any site that prints you a pass or a fail here is inventing law. What moves this outcome is documentation, and that is what this page gives you.
Only a certified medical examiner on the National Registry can certify you. FreightVerdict reads the published federal standards — it does not certify, diagnose, or treat, and nothing here is medical advice.
