The checker reads your verdict. The Kit gets you through the exam: documentation packets for your condition, the two 45-day form clocks run as a calendar, the official medication form packet, waiting-period calendars, failure recovery, and the examiner phone script.

The federal standard: distant visual acuity of at least 20/40 in each eye, with or without corrective lenses; binocular acuity of at least 20/40; a horizontal field of vision of at least 70 degrees in each eye; and the ability to recognize the colors of traffic signals — red, green, and amber.
Glasses and contacts are fully allowed. If both eyes correct to 20/40 or better and your side vision reaches 70 degrees in each eye, vision does not limit your certificate.
Bring your current glasses or contacts, and a spare pair if you have one. If one eye cannot reach 20/40, read the alternative vision standard page — there is a complete federal pathway for exactly that case.
This question is decided by the federal text itself. The verdict above is computed from the cited words — your examiner is bound by the same text.
Only a certified medical examiner on the National Registry can certify you. FreightVerdict reads the published federal standards — it does not certify, diagnose, or treat, and nothing here is medical advice.
