PASS LIKELY — 2-YEAR
The checker reads your verdict. The Kit gets you through the exam: documentation packets for your condition, the two 45-day form clocks run as a calendar, the official medication form packet, waiting-period calendars, failure recovery, and the examiner phone script.

The federal diabetes standard with its form machinery (§391.46) reaches insulin-treated diabetes. Diabetes controlled without insulin — by diet or oral medication — requires no federal form, and the federal rule sets no A1C cutoff of any number. The examiner judges whether the condition is controlled and whether complications affect safe operation; a well-controlled driver with no disqualifying complications may be certified for up to 2 years.
No form, no federal A1C line. Be ready for examiners to ask about control anyway — many use A1C as a practical signal of control even though no federal number exists. That is examiner practice, not a rule, and this site will never print it as one.
Bring your most recent A1C result and medication list — not because a rule demands them, but because they are the fastest way to show control. Eye and foot complications are what examiners probe; recent specialist notes answer them.
This question is decided by the federal text itself. The verdict above is computed from the cited words — your examiner is bound by the same text.
Only a certified medical examiner on the National Registry can certify you. FreightVerdict reads the published federal standards — it does not certify, diagnose, or treat, and nothing here is medical advice.
